The foundation of Jabil’s Respect. Recognize. Reward. program is built on a respectful work environment where everyone is empowered to contribute to the success of the company. The program’s goal is to discover, highlight and share employees’ superior performance and their commitment to helping others.
Employee recognition has always been an integral part of Jabil’s culture and, following our belief in empowerment, each site designed its local recognition program to fit its unique culture. When the Respect. Recognize. Reward. program was developed in 2010, it was critical that sites continue to run its local programs while at the same time, giving them the ability to submit exceptional employees for global recognition. This structure has resulted in hundreds of Jabil employees, from all departments, locations and functions, to be recognized and celebrated each quarter. Employees’ actions and results vary, but their contributions all support Jabil’s Guiding Principles.
Being an Industrial Engineering Project Manager has allowed Andrea De Rosa the opportunity to work with different products and/or customers on a regular basis. This variation has made his job both challenging and rewarding. “It requires having a global vision for all company processes — business and technical,” says Andrea. “The constant change pushes your skillset and knowledge to evolve with the latest technologies and capabilities.”
Andrea was quick to praise his fellow colleagues for his recent global recognition. “Jabil Marcianise is full of talented individuals who are well-prepared for every opportunity that presents itself,” he said. “I challenge myself and others to a consistent high standard and provide the best solutions.”
Today, he dedicates most of his free time to his family. “I value spending time with them and relaxing from the daily stresses of life,” says Andrea. He enjoys living an active lifestyle, in particular playing basketball and soccer with friends. Andrea also volunteers in his local community by giving blood to help those in need.
He dreams of one day traveling the world with his family. “There are many countries that come to mind that I’ve never seen before,” says Andrea. “I definitely want to visit the United States, Canada, and Australia.”
