Giving Back to the Community

Clinton has been a key supporter of its community for more than 40 years. The Clinton site coordinates many different fundraising events throughout the year such as raffles, poker tournaments, weight loss competitions and many more. All of these events help to raise money in support of the United Way of Tri-County. In addition to raising money for the United Way, employees donate their time on a weekly basis to a local Soup Kitchen that is affiliated with the United Way.

The Clinton site also supports the local high school by organizing the Nypro Gael Force Robotics team, allowing high school students to work under the guidance of Nypro engineers to create a robot to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Since its inception in 1992, more than 500 students have participated in this program. Clinton’s environmental impact on its community can be seen by the constant drive to be at the forefront of green business operations. Whether it is utilizing more energy efficient machinery, converting site’s lighting fixtures to LED or continuing to improve the use of resources, Clinton continues to make improvements on operations to ensure everything possible is being done to sustain the local community.
