Giving Back to the Community

As with all Jabil locations, Social & Environmental Responsibility (SER) is at the heart of the San Jose site. Employees raise awareness for Earth Day by hosting an on-site shred and e-waste day in which employees bring in paper to be shredded and electronics to be recycled. In addition to SER, San Jose employees engage in Back-to-School Drives by donating school supplies and backpacks to children in the Bay Area. By partnering with the Family Giving Tree organization, San Jose hosted a Holiday Wish Drive to donate toys and fulfill unique holiday wishes to low income Bay Area families. Employees and their family members also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to build a playhouse to donate to charities that serve children.
