Giving Back to the Community

Taichung (Design) employees regularly donate supplies to the Huei-Ming Home for Blind Children. Taichung (Designs)’s Human Resources team created a Social & Environmental Responsibility program composed of employees who wish to give back to the community. At Christmas time, employees design cards for children who are less fortunate.

In order to strengthen the local culture and increase connections with the local government, the Taichung (Design) site sets up a booth at the Wheat Festival every March. This event allows individuals in the community to become more familiar with Jabil and its culture.

The Taichung (Design) site partners with the Hondao Senior Citizen’s Welfare Foundation to host a movie day in which a theatre is rented for employees to watch a movie that was filmed by the welfare foundation.
