Jabil Announces New Vice President Communications

The Jabil Circuit, Inc. Board of Directors has announced the promotion of Beth A. Walters to the new position of Vice President, Communications.

As Vice President, Communications, Walters will oversee all investor relations, marketing and corporate communications activities for the Company. Walters serves as the primary contact for Wall Street financial analysts, brokers, fund managers and individual investors.

"Beth has taken a leadership role in ensuring consistent access, information and clarity in our communications to shareholders and customers. Her promotion to an officer level position reflects the importance of these goals to our company," remarked Thomas A. Sansone, President.

Walters joined Jabil Circuit in 1992 as Marketing Communications Manager and has served as Director of Communications since 1994. Prior to joining Jabil, Walters owned a marketing and communications firm; served as Public Relations Director of the Tampa Convention & Visitors Association; and held public relations positions with several advertising and public relations firms in Florida and Hawaii.

Walters holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Hawaii and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from American University in Washington, DC.
