Wuxi Stamping Brings Joy to Local School Children

The joy of the holidays could be felt in the smiling faces of the children at the Nanxing Elementary School, thanks to the generous efforts of Jabil Wuxi Stamping employees. 

In cooperation with the Children’s Welfare Center, the primary school serves children with a variety of intellectual and physical disabilities. Employees from Wuxi Stamping chose Nanxing Elementary for the work they do with children in the community facing struggles due to their disabilities. 

Wuxi Stamping employees brought books, stationery, clothes and toys for the children, relieving the school and center of the financial burden associated with those necessary supplies. Jabil volunteers hosted different games and activities with the children to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays. 

The team brought more than much-needed supplies to the center; they encouraged the students to study hard, remain optimistic and never give up in the face of difficulties. Both Jabil volunteers and students left the day with a renewed sense of empowerment. 

Jessie Zhou shared, “We hope these donations can help the children grow up healthy and let them know that the community cares for them. It was powerful to use our love to bring hope to the next generation!"

The 10th Anniversary of the Deliver Best Practices Competition celebrated the good Jabil sites are doing in our local communities around the world. All 32 finalist teams received funds to support a Jabil Cares initiative in their local community! Jabil Cares, our community outreach and volunteerism platform, supports localized efforts around specific causes related to Education, Empowerment and the Environment.
