Jabil Defense and Aerospace has extensive counterfeit prevention and control processes in place that meet the standards of AS5553 and DFARS 252.246-7007/7008. Lead by our configuration management team of experts who work with GIDEP (Government Industry Data Exchange Program) and ERAI (Electronic Resellers Association International), we are able to proactively identify potential threats of counterfeit parts discovered throughout the industry. Our internal SAP system is utilized to mitigate the use of such parts throughout our supply chain.

Jabil Defense and Aerospace continues to educate and train personnel on the process of inspection and testing so we can detect, avoid, and enforce preventive measures through our risk mitigation process.

Pro-active obsolescence management here at Jabil Defense and Aerospace is driven through Life Cycle analysis reporting conducted by highly skilled component engineers. We understand the potential impact insufficient planning can cause to our customers, so risk mitigation is an integral part of the product life cycle; from design and development, to production and distribution.  Strategic and tactical measures are in place to safeguard our customers from obsolescence, while continuing to provide the highest quality and value which is essential to achieve maximum profitability.
