CNC and Precision Machining

Our CNC machining capabilities enhance efficiency and precision through automated machine operations that minimize waste, improve accuracy, and accelerate production. Jabil operates more than 21,000 CNC machines across our global operations for milling, turning, and grinding a diverse array of raw metal materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, CRES, steel alloys, and bronze.

Stamping

Jabil’s custom-designed tooling, dies, and fixtures enable precision metals processing techniques such as punching, bending, embossing, coining, and flanging for even the most complex customer projects.

Thixomolding

Thixomolding, also known as magnesium injection molding, is a highly valued manufacturing process within industries that demand high-performance materials with superior strength-to-weight ratios, such as automotive, defense and aerospace, consumer electronics, and medical devices. Thixomolding uses less energy than die-casting and produces no harmful gases. The magnesium used is then recycled, improving the sustainability of the product lifecycle.

Jabil’s thixomolding capabilities leverage the advantages of magnesium alloys (75% lighter than steel and 33% lighter than aluminum) to deliver excellent corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity, and ultimately, higher performance at a lower cost.

Surface Engineering

Inspection and Test Development
